Tutoring at the Shack is another free program, open to any child in Monongalia County, with special preference being directed toward those participating in other Shack programs. Shack staff recruits and trains tutors for specific, individual children and their unique educational needs. Tutors usually meet once a week for supervised, intensive help.

Tutoring sessions can be scheduled from 4:30 to 5:15, or 5:30 to 6:15p.m, Monday through Thursday.
